The Aerodigestive Society is committed to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. These values are central to our mission statement and are demonstrated in the composition of our members and leadership. Promoting these values creates an environment conducive to our collaborative efforts and improves care for our patients and families.
- The Aerodigestive Society membership and fellowship are open to professions dedicated to this discipline. Leadership in the Society is deliberately inclusive of these professions. This representation is written into the bylaws governing executive committee composition and therefore board and standing committee composition as well.
- We pledge to keep membership in the Society and attendance at Society events as affordable as we can, including sliding scale registration fees and non in-person attendance options when possible.
- We actively seek input from membership regarding DEI efforts and have an active committee dedicated to these efforts.
